Simone Biles
Simone Biles, American gymnast (born 14 March 1997 in Columbus Ohio U.S.) is considered to be one of the top athletes in sports. The 2016 Olympics were held at Rio de Janeiro and Biles was one of the U.S.'s the first gymnast of female gender ever to earn 4 gold medals. She also won the world championship for all-around, three times in succession (2013-15). Biles was raised within Spring Texas in the Houston metropolitan area after she and her sister Adria received adoption by grandparents Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone became interested in gymnastics when she was just six in a day-care field excursion in Bannon's Gymnastix and stayed there for 11 years under the guidance of her coach Aimee Boorman. Biles has won the gold and bronze medals in the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships 2010 on the floor and vault prior to her first appearance in 2011 with the elite category of the competition. A year later Biles was the king of the field. Biles's consistent, exuberant nature and high degree of difficulty in her four events -vault uneven bars, balance beam floor exercise as well as floor exercises -- helped to set her above the others.
