Kari Sam Wuhrer was born on 28th April 1968 is an American actor and singer. She began her acting career when she was in her teens. Her most well-known role is for playing Maggie Beckett on the TV show Sliders as well her role as Sheriff Samantha Parker, in the horror-comedy movie Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer was raised within Brookfield Connecticut as her mother was Karin Noble, who worked as a cashier, as well as German American Andrew Wuhrer. Her father was the eldest of her three siblings. In her teens, she sang in nightclubs, sneaking out of the house to sing. Kari Wuhrer, born in 1967 was an American model, performer and actor. She is the daughter of an American-born father from Germany and a German-American mother. Kari has three brothers and sisters. Kari performed in nightclubs while she was a teenager. In the year she turned 13 old, Kari studied acting at the Wooster School, then was enrolled in drama classes at Tisch School of the Arts in New York University, Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College and The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and renowned instructor Uta Hagen. Kari began her journey into acting at the age of 13 years old, and received her breakthrough in 1987 when she appeared on MTV Remote Control.
